Aloe Vera Composition
Introduction : There are many compositions prepared using Aloe vera (Indian Aloe) in India which are useful for a wide range of body disorders such as acidity, detoxes, reduces pH levels and alleviates heartburn, reduces fever, prevents detrimental Bacteria, fungus, Influenza Virus etc. It is also useful in skin diseases, ringworm, boils, inflamed joints, scalds and itchy allergic conditions.
Some Aloe vera compositions are mentioned below :

Chaturmukho rasa : The name Chaturmukho or four faces here refers to Lord Bramha, the Lord behind the creation. This medicine is the creater of the health, and so named as such. The composition includes Aloe with Mercury, Sulphur, Iron, and Mica (all after undergoing the process of purification).
Indication: Anemia, Diabetes, Asthma, Dyspepsia, Hyperacidity, gout, Epilepsy, Insanity and skin diseases.
Kumara kalyana rasa : The medicinal formulation with purified mercury (rasa), that acts as a blessing (kalyana) for the child (Kumara). The ingredients here are Aloe along with Sulphide of Mercury, Gold, Mica, Iron, and Copper pyrite.
Indication: Paediatric disorders like Fever, asthma, Vomiting, Kwashiorkor, jaundice and weakness.
Kumarika bati : It is a tablet (vati) form of medicine that is made up from Aloe vera (Kumari) as one of the chief component. The composition also includes the purified powder of Tin, purified Opium, etc.
Indication: All type of pain in female vagina, uterus, and cervix. It also acts against the abnormalities in menstruation.
Kumari Tailam : The oil (taila) form of medicine, that is named after Kumari (Aloe), the chief ingredient. Other parts of the ingredients include Datura, Bhringaraj (Eclipta alba), Sessame oil, Licorice, elaichi, Vasa (Adhatoda vasica), Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia), Aswagandha, Castor, Asoka, coconut etc.
Indication: Facial or Bell's palsy, Wry neck, diseases of supra-clavicular region, lock jaw, pain in ear etc.
Kumaryasava : The alcoholic form (Asava) of medicine that is named after the chief constituent Kumari (Aloe). The other ingredients are Jaggery, honey, purified powder of Iron, Dry ginger,Pepper, Long pepper, clove, Elaichi, Turmeric, Licorice, Gokshura, cowhage etc.
Indication: Colic pain, Abdominal enlargement, degenerative disorder, Diabetes, Reverse peristalsis, Dysurea, Epilepsy, Disorders of semen, Urinary calculus, worms, purpura.
Makar Dhwaja : A formulation that includes Aloe along with the Mercury, Sulphur, and thin plates of gold (all in purified form), in the ratio of 8:16:1.
Indication: Fever, dyspepsia, Loss of apetite. It also enhances longivity, creates glow in body and some extent aphrodisiac.

Pradarantaka Rasa : It is one of the medicinal formulation that includes Mercury (rasa) undergoing purification. It helps to eliminate (anta) the disease described under Pradar (vaginal discharge) group. The ingredients of this formulation are Mercury, Sulphur, Tin, Silver, Iron etc the metals all in powder form after being purified by the special processes.
Indication: Abnormal vaginal discharges like Leucorrhoea, Metrorrhagia, Menorrhagia.
Rajapravartani Vati : It is a tablet form of medicinal formulation that enhances (prabartana) the ovulation (raja) or menstrual cycle. The composition includes Aloe vera, Ghee, white arsenic, and some more.
Indication: Dysmenorrhea, Cryptomenorrhea and to some extent in case of Amenorrhea.
Svarna Sinduram : It is a combination of Purified Mercury, Sulphur and Gold plates (thin). The composition includes two herbs, that are Aloe juice and the aerial root of the banyan tree.
Indication: It is Rejuvenative, Aphrodisiac, energetic, memory boosting, and increases the digestive power.
Taruna jwarairasa : The name indicates that it has mercury (rasa) as an ingredient. It acts as a enemy (Ari) of fever (Jwara) in it's initial stage (Taruna). The composition here are Marking nut (Semecarpus anacardium), Sulphur, Mercury, Aconite (all after undergoing the process of purification), with Aloe.
Indication: Fever in it's initial stage (within five to seven days).
Vata gajendra simgha : The Ayurvedic pain killer formulation, that is so potent that it can be compared with the power of the Lion (Simha), that the King of the Lords, named Indra poosses. As the abnormality in vata (one of the three constituents of the body) is the cause of all pains, it is named like such. The composition includes Aloe with the purified powder forms of the Mercury, Sulphur, Mica, Iron etc along with the herbs like Aconite (purified), Hing, Nutmeg etc.
Indication: Pain and emaciation etc due to injury, age, disease, exces indulgence in sex. It also act as a energetic, vitality promoter.
Vijaya vati : A tablet (vati) form of medicine that contains and so named the Cannabis (Vijaya). The composition also includes Aloe, Lotus (red) root, and Apamarga (Achyranthus aspara).
Indication: Gynecological disorders like waist pain, pain in uterus, Pain due to obstruction in the path in the female gernital like Dysmenorrhea, Irregular menstruation etc.
